My first Square in a Square!

This was so much fun to make and I used the left overs from a quilt I made for my sister using The Caroler line of fabric. I also drew all the feathers on then free motion quilted them and I just love the way it looks! I feel like Im getting so much better at this free motion quilting! Ive come a long way from my first time and I love it! The second picture is of the quilting from the back before I put the backing on.

    @TC Thank you for your compliment!Please dont be intimidated! I have been practicing free motion for about 6 months now and if you seen my first works, they were horrible, lots of birds nests on the back, thread breaks, DISASTERS! I cant wait to see what you come up with. Everyone has a different style and technique, no two will ever be the same and thats the beauty of it.
